This is a reincarnation of the ‘60s vintage masterpiece.
‘60s denim is marked by its blueish-indigo look and a unique hairy surface. As you would expect, these features are also expertly replicated in the TCB brand.
The material is made of San Joaquin cotton, and the fabric used is 13OZ. The cotton is harvested in the farmlands nestled in the central valley located in the centre of California. Perched between mountains, the farmland is naturally watered by snowmelt and clean groundwater that runs through the valley.
The ‘60s TCB denim features a tapered fit and also spots a thigh width and relaxed rise. The entire jeans is also sewn using a 20 yarn thread count.
The jeans also feature a hand-sewn paper patch, and as soon as it starts to fade, the paper patch can be removed to reveal its dark indigo look. In the ’50s, the patch was sewn onto the waist in one stroke. However, this changed in the ’60s when the patch was sewn on after the jeans had been made.
