The terms we have laid out pertain to every user on the domain avileather.com and the sub-domains. The terms and conditions are used for all transactions with and visits to the website. AVI LEATHER can change these terms and conditions at any time, without prior notice.


We do not make promises that all items in the web shop are available when you order. Should your item not be available, we will reach out to you – by email or phone. We cannot guarantee that the site’s content is free of errors or typographical mistakes. While we do everything we can to fix images, texts and pricing, mistakes can still occur from time to time. If we believe you were wrongly charged an amount for an item, we have the right to cancel it before any order is sent out. In cases of this happening, you will be notified by email. If we’re unable to contact you, your order is going to be cancelled automatically.


AVI LEATHER’s terms are based upon Danish law. Danish courts have total jurisdiction when it comes to disputes. Your country’s laws may be different from the laws in Denmark, and you may have more legal requirements when using the website.


According to the EU and Consumer’s laws our products are covered by a 24 month warranty from the date of purchase, if any problem should arise due to a defect in workmanship under ordinary consumer use.


Bear in mind that leather is a natural product, meaning every hide is unique. The markings, texture and colour of each hide will vary. Differences can occur even with one hide. There are no promises made on the colours the website displays, as it can be dependent upon your computer and monitor’s colour settings.


The amount will be deducted from your credit/debit card when the purchased item has been shipped.


Product prices are noted in Danish VAT and other charges. Outside EU customers buy our products tax-free (20 percent off the stated prices). This tax is excluded during the Checkout process. Any import or customs duties will be charged once your order reaches your country and will need to be paid by you. We do not have control over the charges and can’t tell you what kind of charges you could expect to pay. Each country has their own customs rules and regulations. If you have questions or concerns, consider contacting your local customs office. Every order is postmarked from Denmark.


When you’re ready to order, you can choose to pay by credit card. In order to make sure your shopping experience is secure and safe, we use the widely-used and accepted Secure Socket Layers technology (SSL) during the payment checkout process. In order to maintain your privacy, we will not store any payment data in the website database.


Free economy shipping is available on all orders worldwide. Free shipping will be applied to the order during the checkout process. All orders are shipped in up to 3 working days after you place the order.


When you’re a customer at AVI LEATHER, you have 14 days from the date you get your order to withdraw it. During this time, you can open the product and see if it’s what you expected. If it’s not what you expected, you can send the items back and you’ll be refunded the cost or get another size. However, you will be responsible for the cost to return the items. Item must be sent back in the same condition and quantity as you got it. If this requirement is not met, a significant decrease of value of the good will happen.

All our chemical policies are in accordance with national and continental safety legislations and are tested according to the European REACH standards. There is no practice of using harmful chemicals in any of our leather articles. AVI LEATHER ensures that our jackets are produced in the best possible manner, safe and efficient without harmful chemicals.

All manufacturers are operated according to the local social compliance law, which is equal to European and US labor laws. We understand the labor-intense environment of the garment production industry, and the health, safety and wellbeing of our workers is a high priority for us.

Our mission has always been to recreate top quality flight jackets that are as authentic as possible, at prices that are affordable. So we take particular care to get everything right. We begin the process of research, design and development from our workshop in Denmark. We then hand over manufacture of the jackets, to a production team in Pakistan and India, who are experts in vintage leather jackets. We are in constant correspondence with our manufacturer and are working together to create jackets to the highest standards of production.
