After the Second World War in 1945, increased demand for cars gave rise to a need for cozy and functional car coats, which were usually made from horsehide leather. Our horsehide car coat is based on the typical design from that time with a simple two-pocket design and length added to the jacket. The car coat can either be worn over a light-weighted jacket or a thick sweater. If you are more comfortable wearing it as a jacket consider to choose a size smaller.
